Matter is operated by EthosXYZ Technologies Inc. (doing business as “Matter”), a Delaware C-Corporation headquartered in New York, USA. In this policy, “Matter,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to EthosXYZ Technologies Inc. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Information you provide: your name, email address, company details, login credentials, and profile information; the prompts, files, configurations, and other content you submit; and billing details (payment information is processed by our payment provider and is not stored by us).
Data from connected accounts: when you connect a third-party platform, we receive the data you authorize — for example, e-commerce and advertising account data such as Amazon Selling Partner information (including reports like Brand Analytics), Meta, and TikTok Shop / TikTok for Business account, shop, and ad-account identifiers.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, and cookies, along with server logs, error reports, and diagnostic information.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and operate the service — including to automate tasks, generate content, produce dashboards and reporting, secure and monitor our systems, provide support, and meet our legal obligations.
Integrations and connected platforms
Matter connects to third-party platforms at your direction (for example, Amazon, Meta, and TikTok Shop / TikTok for Business). Access tokens are obtained through each platform’s authorization flow and are used only to provide the features you enable. You can disconnect an integration at any time.
How we share information
We share data with trusted sub-processors who help us operate the service (for example, hosting, logging, AI, and support providers). We evaluate each sub-processor’s security posture before engaging them, and a current list of sub-processors is available on request. We do not sell personal data.
Data retention
We retain Customer Data during your subscription and for up to 30 days after termination, unless you request earlier deletion. On a verified deletion request, your data and backups are irreversibly deleted. Limited diagnostic data may be retained longer for security and reliability.
Security
We protect data with encryption, access controls, authentication, and continuous monitoring, and we maintain a security program aligned with SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or above, and data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 (or stronger). For more detail, see our Security page.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, or to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@usematter.ai. We verify identity before acting on a request and respond within the timeframes required by law.
International data transfers
EthosXYZ Technologies Inc. is based in the United States and stores data in U.S.-based cloud regions. Where data is transferred from the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses together with the technical and organizational measures described above. A Data Processing Addendum incorporating these clauses is available on request.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify customers by email or in-product before they take effect and update the “last updated” date above.
